Leviticus 11:44-45

Le 11:44 I am the LORD your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy. Do not make yourselves unclean by any creature that moves about on the ground.

45 I am the LORD who brought you up out of Egypt to be your God; therefore be holy, because I am holy. (NIV)

Leviticus 16:7-10

Le 16:7 Then he is to take the two goats and present them before the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.

8 He is to cast lots for the two goats-- one lot for the LORD and the other for the scapegoat.

9 Aaron shall bring the goat whose lot falls to the LORD and sacrifice it for a sin offering.

10 But the goat chosen by lot as the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the LORD to be used for making atonement by sending it into the desert as a scapegoat. (NIV)

Exodus 29:19-20a

Ex 29:19 "Take the other ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on its head.

20 Slaughter it, take some of its blood and put it on the lobes of the right ears of Aaron and his sons, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. (NIV)

1Peter 1:15-16

1Pe 1:15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do;

16 for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy." (NIV)
